Cranial Osteopathy

A gentle, highly effective therapy for people of all ages

Cranial osteopathy is a highly specialised, natural, and safe therapy suitable for people of all ages, from babies to the elderly, including the most vulnerable. It is particularly effective for neurological regulation, helping the nervous system settle, restore balance, and support overall well-being.

A Therapy for All Ages

Adults and older clients benefit from the gentle yet powerful effects of cranial osteopathy. Every week, many people attend sessions at the Centre for a wide range of issues, including:

  • Musculoskeletal pain and injuries

  • Headaches and migraines

  • TMJ disorders

  • Digestive and gastrointestinal concerns

  • Recovery after injury or trauma

  • Sleep issues, stress and anxiety

  • Women’s health issues

  • And much more

Cranial osteopathy supports not only structural  wellbeing but also nervous sytem regulation, helping the body and nervous system restore balance and optimal function naturally.

Specialist Care for Babies, Pregnancy, and Childbirth

Our Centre has specialist paediatric osteopaths who help babies settle into life after birth. Cranial osteopathy for infants aims to:

  • Calm and regulate the nervous system

  • Support normal physiological and digestive function

  • Release compressions caused by late pregnancy or birth that may lead to discomfort or irritability

All our paediatric specialists have completed extensive additional training beyond the standard five-year osteopathy degree, including some of the region’s only practitioners with a postgraduate degree from the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London. Their decades of combined experience, alongside a passion for supporting young families, ensure that your baby is in safe, expert hands.

Pregnancy and Postnatal Care

Cranial osteopathy offers a gentle and effective way to ease pre- and post-natal discomforts, including:

  • Back pain and postural strain

  • Pubic symphysis pain

  • Heartburn and digestive discomfort

  • Muscle tension, structural imbalances and general recovery after childbirth

The therapy supports both structural and neurological balance, helping mothers feel more comfortable and resilient throughout pregnancy and after birth.
