Lucy's profile:
Lucy graduated as an Osteopath at Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia, and has since undertaken extensive post-graduate training in Cranial Osteopathy, including for the treatment of children and babies. She has an extremely varied practice and uses a wide range of osteopathic techniques including cranial, structural, visceral and intra-oral methods. Each treatment is tailored to the individual and, where beneficial, incorporates self-management strategies and advice.
Before joining the Tree of Life Centre, Lucy was part of New Zealand’s premiere team of osteopaths at Auckland’s Stillpoint Clinic, providing specialist care for babies, children and pregnant women, as well as assisting both men and women with fertility. Lucy moved to the UK to further her training in family Osteopathy by completing a Diploma of Paediatric Osteopathy at the world-renowned Osteopathic Centre for Children in London. She now heads up the Centre's Mum & Baby service, whilst Lucy’s finely-tuned cranial skills help patients of all ages – adults as well as babies – with a wide range of conditions.
Initially finding osteopathy through a sporting background, playing hockey at national level in Australia, Lucy also has a keen interest and much experience in treating sports injuries, and all other structural and postural issues.
Lucy is extremely passionate about Osteopathy and it's ability to encourage people towards their natural state of health thereby reaching their full potential, in all areas and stages of life.
